With Australia's bushfires ravaging countless homes and displacing millions of animals, Maxi finds himself battling on two fronts, juggling his responsibilities as a lifeguard and a firefighter. On the beach, an Iranian tourist is brought in unconscious, and her sister steps in to help as the lifeguards work to assess whether she’s suffering from a spinal injury, drowning, or a head trauma. Meanwhile, Harries encounters his own communication challenge during a rescue, struggling to decipher an Irish tourist's heavy accent.
