A young man quietly wanders through Moorside Lodge, a home for mothers and their babies. Meanwhile, Greengrass seizes an opportunity to arrange for a concrete driveway, but when David declines to work that day, Greengrass is left with no choice but to enlist the help of the mysterious Gary. Later on, chaos unfolds when an adopted baby is taken.
