Instead, he sets off on an adventurous 25-mile trek to his cherished spot along the Pacific Coast, a birthday ritual he's maintained for over twenty years. To reach his destination, Mick navigates the rushing waters of the Sol Duc River and hikes through the towering spruce trees of the Hoh Rainforest.
