S1E20 Where Justice Lies

The Sibyl System reveals its true nature to Akane, who acknowledges its necessity, though she questions its moral grounds. Meanwhile, Makishima tracks down the professor behind the hyper-oats and kills him after extracting the information he needs, taking the man's fingers and eyeballs to bypass biometric security. Shortly after, Kogami arrives and leaves a vital clue for the MWSPB inside the man's airpipe. In a strategic move, Akane strikes a deal with Sibyl: she promises to capture Makishima alive if they rescind the execution order for Kogami. Thanks to her investigative skills, they quickly decipher Kogami's clue and uncover Makishima's plans.
