When a top-ranking official, Horace Guilder, unexpectedly shows up at Project NOAH, Brad and Amy start devising an escape plan, enlisting the aid of an unexpected ally. At the same time, Sykes and Richards find themselves doubting each other's intentions, leading to tension between them. Additionally, a tumultuous history involving Lear, Elizabeth, and Fanning comes to light, complicating their relationships further.
