Liv and Clive delve into the murder of a journalist who was uncovering a connection between psychotic episodes in a few consumers and the energy drink Max Rager. Liv heads directly to the headquarters of Max Rager to confront the CEO, Vaughn Du Clark. In the meantime, Ravi makes an effort to assist Major, who is still struggling with his fears of losing his sanity.
