Desperate for stage time, Pete dedicates a night to distributing fliers for a comedy club, a task he soon discovers is referred to as “barking” in the comedy scene. While navigating the streets of New York, he faces uninterested passersby, forms connections with aspiring comedians, clashes with a competing barker, and receives encouragement from an experienced comic.
