Hardcastle heads back to his Arkansas hometown for a high school reunion, where he discovers from a longtime friend that local farmers are being conned out of their land. When that friend is suddenly killed, his daughter reaches out to the judge for assistance. In response, Hardcastle teams up with McCormick to break into the area’s land office to uncover the truth behind the deceit.
