After discovering that Flex doesn't love her, Holly plots to undermine their chances of syndication. However, their antics at the broadcast awards dinner lead to embarrassment for both, resulting in an unexpected offer for a national deal. Meanwhile, Flex opts to go to the awards instead of Breanna's play, prompting her to chase her dreams and elope with Arnaz to New York. In another twist, Candy moves in with Duayne, who is desperately trying to conceal the closure of Big Sal's and his subsequent job loss.
