As summer unfolds, the Game Warden Service finds itself in the midst of a hectic period. Warden Tom McKenney is on the lookout for a missing teenager who has run away, while a group of wardens hurries to rescue an injured hiker in need of evacuation. Meanwhile, Warden MacCabe observes some strange behavior from a family of Blue Heron, sparking his curiosity.
