A man is charged with the murders of his wife and several colleagues, setting off a chaotic chase through a bustling casino. He ultimately traps himself and a hostage in a hotel room within the casino. Meanwhile, the CSIs sift through evidence from the crime scene to figure out if the man had an accomplice or if he acted on his own. One CSI takes a brave step into the role of hostage negotiator, risking his own safety in the process.
