Evan is riding a wave of success, holding his royalty check and the freshly completed manuscript of his second book. Meanwhile, Richie has received a significantly larger royalty check and is getting enthusiastic about Christian's property investment suggestions. This sets the stage for a confrontation between Christian and Richie. Meanwhile, Gabrielle and Tidy are deeply immersed in romance, finding it hard to leave the apartment, lost in each other's company.
