Hawkeye pens a letter to his father, sharing the adventures of an eccentric Turkish soldier who praises him as a "damn good Joe." He recounts the bizarre incident involving the supposed body of a Luxembourg soldier, Lt. Henri-Batiste LeClerc, who is surprisingly alive. Additionally, he reflects on the antics of a trigger-happy officer that added to the chaos of the day.
