During the trial, Dennis shares his theory about Anton's possible motives, while Romy faces pressure from her legal team to discredit Julie in her testimony. Both Dennis and Romy are cross-examined by the defense attorneys and exposed for not being entirely truthful. Meanwhile, Kobe endures increasing bullying, Esther struggles with her painkillers more than she anticipated, and Jacob is left puzzled by Catherine's distance. Despite his efforts, he finds it difficult to connect with her.
