In the season opener, Tom and Nancy Oar gear up for the harsh winter looming in Montana. Meanwhile, Jake Herak navigates through thick fog and rugged mountain landscapes on foot as he hunts for elk. Over in Wyoming, Josh Kirk faces the challenge of relocating a 150-year-old log cabin to the center of his bison ranch, but the treacherous trip puts the historic building at risk of collapse. Meanwhile, in Alaska, Martha and Elli Tansy each successfully harvest a caribou, embarking on an all-night off-road adventure to retrieve their game.
