S1E1 Drop Dead

Title: Drop Dead Plot: Just days before private investigator Marty Hopkirk is set to marry waitress Jeannie Hurst, he and his partner, Jeff Randall, are hired by renowned artist Gordon Stylus to keep an eye on his wife due to safety concerns. Tragically, during their surveillance, Marty is killed. Devastated, Jeff and Jeannie take it upon themselves to uncover the truth behind his death, putting themselves in jeopardy. Luckily, Jeff starts receiving guidance from Marty's ghost, who is visible only to him. With time running out, Marty becomes bound to roam the earth for as long as Jeff lives, unable to find peace.
