Elmo, Rosita, and Julia feel let down when their plans change and they can't have storytime with Alan as they had hoped. To pass the time, they decide to create artwork depicting all the thoughtful things Alan has done for them, like sharing snacks, playing games, and reading stories. Inspired, they come up with the idea to compile their paintings into their very own book, which they plan to present to Alan while sharing their new story.
