S1E1 The Prayer

In a nursing home, a mother has been in a coma for a decade, leaving her caregiver completely worn out. The nursing robot, tasked with caring for both, faces a moral dilemma when it must choose whom to assist in a crisis. "The Prayer" envisions a near future where robots tend to immobile patients, shedding light on the often overlooked aspects of caregiving. As a machine designed for a specific function approaches the core of its purpose, it confronts choices, suffering, and fixation that extend beyond its programming. At that point, can it still be considered merely a machine?
