Detectives Ryan Walker, Nora Houghton, and Lt. Ben Carroll work tirelessly to solve a series of strangulation homicides. Meanwhile, Carroll and his ex-wife, Bonnie, agree to end their intimate encounters. Bonnie reveals to him that she's started dating someone new. As the investigation unfolds, Walker complicates matters by entering a relationship with a manipulative TV journalist, putting the case at risk.
