Stardate: Unknown. The crew faces peril as their ship is assaulted by the Turei, a hostile alien race defending their territory. Seeking refuge on a nearby planet, Captain Janeway attempts to forge an alliance with the local people, the Vaadwaur. However, as events unfold, she starts to suspect that the Vaadwaur could be an even greater danger than the attackers hovering above them.
