They explore all the surrounding open areas but ultimately determine that the most probable location for the cemetery lies beneath a housing estate built in the 1960s. While a few tombstones and burials have been discovered over the last century, the team believes a substantial Roman military cemetery is still hidden. Over three days of chaotic searching, they utilize every available space, check under pavements, and rally local residents of all ages to assist in their quest, before finally uncovering the long-sought answer.
