As Karen keeps a vigil by Lucas' side in his coma, she encounters his new girlfriend and hears from Deb about her decision to leave Dan. The biggest shock comes when Karen finds out that Keith was drinking and driving when the accident occurred, leaving her horrified. Meanwhile, Nathan is determined to win Haley back after she breaks up with him.
