When Henry's neighbor's son comes home from college, comparisons with Matthew become unavoidable. Although the neighbor's boy appears to be diligent, polite, and an exceptional athlete, Matthew is aware of a different reality. The stark contrast between their public personas and private truths leads Matthew to question the facade his neighbor's son presents to the world.
