After a coach accident leads Charlotte to the Parker family, she eagerly embraces the chance to dive into the adventure she has long desired by joining them at the burgeoning seaside resort of Sanditon. However, as she settles in, Charlotte realizes that the townspeople exhibit odd and unexpected behaviors, presenting her with challenges and surprises she never anticipated.
