Stan feels humiliated in front of his friends when his father is stopped by the police for driving under the influence. Meanwhile, in a nearby town, a statue of Mary that appears to be bleeding attracts a crowd of believers seeking miracles and healing. Stan's dad becomes convinced that this bleeding Virgin holds the key to curing his illness.
