Cole follows a lead on a shadowy group known as the "Army of the 12 Monkeys," which brings him to a mental hospital in 2015. There, a patient possesses crucial information about the apocalyptic plague. At the same time, Dr. Railly, despite being cautioned that her actions could alter the timeline, bravely puts herself in danger to assist him.
