At the same time, Violet stumbles upon the surprising news that Sheldon is seeing Marla Phillips, the doctor who harshly criticized her book and whom Violet sees as her greatest rival. Meanwhile, Cooper is caring for a young musical genius who is battling a severe brain tumor.
