Rayna takes desperate measures to shield her eldest daughter from the dangers that young artists often face. Meanwhile, Juliette reconnects with her “Shenandoah Girl” co-star Noah West while campaigning for the Oscars, where she also meets Kesha, who appears as herself. In another storyline, Scarlett becomes uneasy about Gunnar's growing bond with Autumn Chase; Layla worries about fading into obscurity before her career really begins; and Will experiences a heartbreaking loss.
