Following a devastating explosion at a fruit-packing plant employing prison labor, six inmates flee into the urban landscape. Hondo and 20-Squad are assigned to capture the escapees, but they soon uncover evidence suggesting the blast was deliberate. It becomes clear that the inmates are collaborating on a daring heist. Meanwhile, Commander Hicks begins to clear out his office as he readies to leave the SWAT commander's role, and Gamble receives distressing updates regarding her incarcerated father.
