Daniel teams up with four Nebulans and five Autobots to take on the Hive, who in turn recruit a group of Decepticons to counter their efforts. Meanwhile, Optimus Prime journeys to Vector Sigma in search of the missing Autobots. There, he runs into a familiar face that reveals the truth about their disappearance and the necessary steps to take moving forward.
