Earl’s effort to surprise Joy with her dream hot tub goes awry, leaving her confined to a protective bubble due to a severe toe infection. With Joy unable to participate in her usual activities, Earl steps up to take her place. He navigates the world of gossip at the salon and makes unconventional grocery runs from a stranger’s trunk.
