During the Founder’s Day celebration, Stefan surprises everyone with his lively demeanor, but Damon's quest to uncover Uncle John's motives leads to a confrontation. An unfortunate event at the party escalates tensions between Matt and Tyler, further straining Matt's relationship with his mother, Kelly. Meanwhile, Elena tries to console Jeremy, but he feels unheard and decides to take action himself.
