During the yearly Small Pet Show at Bellville Hall, a local estate agent is discovered murdered, having been stabbed amongst a group of runaway rabbits. Investigators ponder whether the culprit was an animal-rights activist or if the motive lay in a rivalry over one of the coveted award-winning pets.
