When his body is discovered submerged in a vat during the village’s spring fair, Barnaby and Jones find themselves embroiled in a murder case. The two detectives are also indulging in the local cider, adding an ironic twist as they delve into the circumstances surrounding the inspector's demise amidst the festivities.
