Four years after Sagan established a truce with the D2s, music remains forbidden, silencing melodies across the globe. In a desolate part of America, a young boy, unfamiliar with the concept of music, suddenly hears a piano playing. The musician is a young man named Takt, sporting black hair. As the enchanting notes fill the air, a twisted creature known as a D2 and a girl named Destiny, wielding a sword, emerge, seemingly drawn in by the captivating tune.
