Valley of Peace (1956)
Amidst the devastation of a Slovene town, a young Slovene boy and a German girl embark on a quest for the elusive Valley of Peace, a place untouched by war. Their journey takes an unexpected turn when they encounter a Black American pilot who has escaped from a downed aircraft. Despite the fact that American forces have caused his parents' deaths, the boy embraces the pilot as a companion. Together, they navigate the harsh realities of their world, embodying a poignant symbol of unity and hope amid the turmoil of the Liberation War.
