Promised Land (1988)
Hancock, a star athlete, along with his cheerleader girlfriend Mary and the socially awkward Senator, are eager to escape their small-town confines and chase their ambitious dreams. However, their youthful optimism is soon challenged by the unforgiving truths of adult life.
