At a clandestine Soviet research institute in the 1950s, Natasha manages the bustling canteen, a hub for scientists and international visitors alike. Her days revolve around serving meals, while her nights are spent with her younger colleague Olga, sharing dreams of love and a different life. One fateful evening, Natasha connects with French scientist Luc Bige, leading to an intimate encounter.
