Phone Call to the Bar (2011)
In Sapporo's vibrant Susukino district, a private investigator named Yo Oizumi unwinds with his driver, Takada, at their favorite bar. During their drinks, a mysterious woman, Kyoko Kondo, reaches out with a seemingly straightforward request. Trusting his instincts about danger, the detective eagerly takes on the task, believing it to be simple. However, as he embarks on the investigation the following day, he soon realizes that beneath the surface lies a web of complexities and risks that he hadn’t anticipated.
