Regīna Razuma, born Regīna Vesere on September 22, 1951, in Riga, Latvia, was a renowned actress and ballerina whose contributions to the performing arts left a lasting legacy. Growing up in a large family, she showcased her artistic talents early on and graduated from the Riga Choreographic School in 1968.

Razuma's illustrious career began as a ballerina with the Daile State Song and Dance Ensemble, where she performed from 1968 until her retirement from ballet in 1975. She made her foray into the world of film in 1971, marking the beginning of a successful acting career. To refine her craft, she studied at the People's Film Actor Studio at the Riga Film Studio from 1975 to 1978. Her dedication paid off when she graduated from the acting department of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music in 1982.

From 1980 to 1992, Razuma captivated audiences at the Dailes Theatre, showcasing her versatility and talent. She later joined the New Riga Theatre, where she continued to shine as an actress until her passing on May 14, 2023. Throughout her career, Razuma was celebrated for her compelling performances and significant contributions to Latvian theater and film, solidifying her place in the cultural history of Latvia.
